THE ONE AND ONLY “FUN AROUND AND FIND OUT” CAMP FOR KIDS

What are you going to do with your kids, that is slightly educational, fun, and a little feral for November 10th and November 11th ?

Please consider sending your little ones to
CAMP FIND OUT: A Land-based Adventure and Education Camp

STANDARD DAILY ACTIVITIES
• morning hike
• survival skills/foraging skills
• land-based schooling…including literacy/numeracy time (depending on the age)
• flex adventure time
• intentional forest/survival games


DETAILS
Nov 10th - First Day of Metis Week
Our learning will focus the first day of Metis week! We will learn some Mets games, plants, landbased teachings, and hone our slingshot skills.
Nov 11th -Remembrance Day
The learning will center around Remembrance day. We will be actively outdoors and in an age appropriate manner discuss veterans, war, and why we honor this day.
Ages 6-14


COST
$50/day/child
West Bragg Creek- address upon registration
20 spots only

Drop time: 8:30-9am
Pick-up time: 3:00pm

*For a fee, we offer flexible pick-ups- please just ask!!
$20/per child/hour for late pick up- e-transfer for aftercare can be sent to dearauntieschool@gmail.com

PARENTS AND CAMPERS:
WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BEFORE CAMP BEGINS. YOU CAN FILL IT OUT IN THE MORNING OF, OR HEAD TO THE CONTACT PAGE AND FILL IT OUT PRIOR

Objectives: Learn from the land, FAFO, and to be curious

Notes about Auntie School:
• vulnerable sector check
• BEd (MEd candidate)
• OCC certified (backcountry field guide)
• Metis human and Indigenous Education Specialist (CBE 10+ year)
• Excel, and FAFO proficient
