"In the spirit of respect and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and the Stoney Nakoda, and Tsuut'ina Nations, and the members of the Metis Nation of Alberta”

Our ancestral territory, as Metis people, is Batoche which is located in Treaty 6- The homeland of the Metis people.
We are grateful to Treaty 7 for their kindness, generosity, teachings, and for a place to call home
